Digital watermarks system for audio signals based on the reverberation effect
Paper introduces an approach for embedding watermarks into audio signals by using the moderate reverberation effect which doesn’t affect the music recordings quality significantly. The process is tolerant to using lossy bit-rate reduction based formats such as mp3 as well. To extract digital watermarks, we propose to use cepstral transformation and correlation receiver that differs from canonical models known from the communication theory. We use modeling techniques to calculate errors frequency and to optimize watermarks embedding parameters.
