On some properties of solutions of the boltzmann equation in the case of «soft» potentials

It is shown, that in the case of «soft» potentials the Cauchy problem for the Boltzmann equation of the kinetic theory of gases permits, as opposed to the case of the «hard» potentials, the existence of «long living» initial perturbations.
