Limitations of spectral methods for detection of short periodic signals

Abstract:

Analytical estimations of parameters of signals at which detection of the short periodic signal hidden in noise, a spectral method is possible are resulted. Results of numerical modeling spectral detector of short periodicity in comparison with a window spectral-statistical method of detection of short periodicity are described.
