Urban development modelling: deterministic approach

In this paper, theoretical results of city growing dynamics are presented based on the Lorenz-type mathematical model. The bifurcation diagram and phase-plane portraits are obtained by means of qualitative analysis and numerical simulatuion of ODE system. The ranges of parameter values are specified where the system demonstrates different dynamic regimes.
