Synthesis and computer-aided optimization of high order digital cascade controllers

The main procedures of digital cascade controller synthesis by the pole placement technique are discussed. The methods of the controller computer-aided optimization by means of iterative methods are considered. Some examples are presented to solve optimization problems combined with synthesis using integral criterion.
