Analysis of waves in a ferrite-dielectric waveguide by variation method

Abstract:

The electrodynamics problem of waves along the electrically controlled ferrite-dielectric waveguide was solved. Ritz' algorithm has been realized in Matlab. The calculations were made for different waveguide designs. The results can be applied to improve electrically scanning millimeter-wave antennas.
