          <abstract lang="ENG">We describe algorithms of modelling multi-path channels, determining distance from the subscriber unit to the base station based on the measurement of received signal strength (RSS), optimal algorithms of estimation (Kalman filter) and algorithms of navigation. Influence of multi-path channel parameters on navigation characteristics is shown. An estimation of positioning accuracy with using optimal algorithm of estimation is take place.</abstract>

Three methods of the reception of such signals have been examined: the elementwise method, the method, based on the whole algorithm, and the generalized elementwise method.</abstract>

          <abstract lang="ENG">An approach for automation of reliability analysis of complex-structured control systems is suggested. The approach is based on logical-probabilistic methods; reliability analysis of elements is based on state graphs. For universal description of various classes of control systems our approach uses a metamodel, which is parameterized for a specific class of systems. The suggested approach is implemented in software tool, which allows to calculate general reliability parameters and the elements influence on system reliability.</abstract>

The proposed approach to the estimation of parameters of the object is tested on a model example, and the experimentally obtained dependence of the liquid level in the reservoir, which has a piecewise behavior. The proposed approach improves the speed of adaptation of estimates to abrupt changes in the parameters of the object.</abstract>
