A new method for measuring color differences in a uniform area of a color space is proposed. A new approach to obtaining the uniform area of the color space consists in applying local transformations to infinitesimal areas of non-Euclidean color space CIE xy with using data of color thresholds obtained by interpolation or approximation of experimental data.
