        <p>The authors examine the conditions for detection of ice precipitates on electric power lines using location method by additional delay and damping of impulses, reflected from the heterogeneities of electric lines. They discuss the influence of sporadic interferences on isolation of reflected impulses is discussed. The authors also estimate temporal stability of reflcctograms that are used as standard for isolation of impulses caused by ice precipitation.</p>
