      <abstract xml:lang="en">
        <p>The influence of compression and stretching tension on effective specific resistance (ESR) in specimen surface layer in steel is investigated. Nondestructive resistance electrocontact testing was used for measurement in the range of loads 0,0-0,8 yield point stress. There is shown that ESR varies linearly under loading and the dependence has a hysteretic character after multicyclic loading.</p>
