        <p>This article describes the nonlinear model of the varactor diode for use in broadband microwave voltagecontrolled oscillator. The proposed model has been verified based on measurement data and adequately reflects the characteristics of the varactor diode. This varactor model can be used in various types of CAD for accurately design broadband microwave VCO and frequency-tuning circuits.</p>
