The paper covers the perspectives of further development of land-based navigation systems. Considering the requirements for the next generation «eLORAN» and «eChAYKA» systems a new approach to development of transmitters’ power amplifiers has been proposed. Results of modelling some technical characteristics of power amplifiers are included.
