        <p>This article describes the basic steps and examples of using the operational approach for the study of economic systems, described in the class of multicriterial task multi-step linear programming; lists the results obtained on the basis of this approach: proof of decidability, evaluation, control variables and criteria, sufficient conditions of the ineffectiveness of the relevant investment projects.</p>
