Paper focuses on the state-of-the art of artificial intelligence domain. Bio-inspired methods are considered in context of data processing and control problems. It is shown that synergetic paradigm together with methods based on chaotic dynamics of processing elements comprise most perspective trends in development of sophisticated intelligent systems.
